Imagine how useful the Mac OS X calculator would be if you had to click on each button to enter numbers. Zinio, and MDJ, suffer from a similar fate. Zinio promises so much but delivers so little. With the release of Zinio Reader for Mac OS X, readers can choose to subscribe to Macworld and read it on their computer, instead of receiving a paper copy in the mail each month. Prior to the removal of Zinio Reader, you should first log into your Mac with an administrator account, and turn Zinio Reader off if it is running. To deactivate an app, right click its icon in the dock and select Quit option (or choose Zinio Reader > Quit Zinio Reader on the Menu bar).
